Things I am loving and/or coveting

I have learned about so many cool new things by reading blogs and I felt like sharing some things I have enjoyed lately. (or really want)

1. AVON Glazewear Lip Gloss- This is my favorite Avon item at the moment. This is a shiny long lasting gloss and it's not sticky at all. My favorite color is Raisin Glaze.

2. Someday I want to have so much money that I can buy any shoes I want! These Clark Loop shoes look SOOOOO comfy.

3. Alternative Bagel- These bagels are only 110 calories and even more surprisingly they are delicious!! I buy them at Walmart.

4. Scentsy Truffle- I know I talk about Scentsy a lot but they have amazingly yummy scents. I want to try truffle! I don't know, it would probably just make me hungry.

Whew.......

I am glad this week is over. Don't get me wrong, it's been good. Just crazy! Working for Kendall has been great. I did my first customer service calls this week and I didn't even run off those clients...yet. :) Fitting everything in I need to do in a day is tricky but it's going ok.

Speaking of Kendall..... I got a call last night and he announced that he and Chelsi are engaged! I am happy for them. They came down here on Valentine's Day and they are a fun, great couple. We really like Chelsi. They are getting married in June.

Mark and I had a belated Valentine's Dinner last night at Wasabi. I have really learned to like Japanese food recently and it was so yummy! It was fun to get away for a few hours.

The kids have been on a sugar high this week with Valentine's Day. When I was a kid, we just exchanged valentine's but now it's a big production to see how much candy you can stick to your valentine. They have fun. Brynn and Kate had animal valentines and Ryan had Spongebob and Hot Wheels.

Wednesday blues

Blah, blah, blah. Super Tuesday was very unsuper. I might have to admit that my man Mitt might be officially almost out. I thought we could win that dang California! Oh, well. I may be able to get over it. :)

In other news, I have started doing some computer work for my brother's insurance company and it's been great so far. It's nice to slow down the atrophying of my brain that was happening before this week. :) I love being able to work in my house for a few hours a day. No commute!

Speaking of commuting, it's hairy out there. We have got so much snow the last few days some surrounding counties are declaring disaster areas. The airport closed down for much of the day. (Mark works near it)Mark had to gun it to get out of the driveway this morning. We shovel and the snow instantly reappears. The kids keep hoping for snow days with no luck. It reminds me of the snow levels we always had as kids.

Things are good in our crazy house, just crazy busy! Amy and Donald came down yesterday and Brandon came over to play. He kept Zachy company for a good long time. He's a precocious, cute kid!

Glenn Beck benefit

Tonight I went to the Glenn Beck benefit show at the Civic Auditorium. What an awesome night. Glenn Beck flew in to do a stage show and he donated 100% of the profits to a family in Rexburg that have 4 sons with Muscular Dystrophy and need renovations to make their house wheelchair accessible. They raised $100,000 in ticket sales and Jon Huntsman matched that amount. They were a really cool humble family.

The show was an awesome combination of humor and touching stories. I love Glenn on the radio and I had been to his stage show in SLC last year. We don't usually get big names in IF but since his daughter goes to school in Rexburg he comes out to ID quite often. Mark didn't want to go so I went with my Uncle John and Aunt Betty and my cousin Clay and his wife Jeralyn. They are a hoot. We laughed a lot at dinner. Quite loudly in fact.

Here are some more pictures of my adorable newest nephew, Jeremiah and his beautiful Mama, Betsy. She is over the moon about this little guy. We made a crazy quick trip to see him Wed. night and came back Thursday. Bes and Jonah both looked so content and happy. Jonah almost starved because he wouldn't leave the hospital to go get food. (there is no delivery in Star Valley) My mom finally got him a pizza. Jeremiah is named after Jonah's brother Jeremiah who only lived for a few hours.

This Jeremiah is one of the most perfect little newborns I have ever seen. He is round and has really fine features. What a doll.
