Tonight I went to the Glenn Beck benefit show at the Civic Auditorium. What an awesome night. Glenn Beck flew in to do a stage show and he donated 100% of the profits to a family in Rexburg that have 4 sons with Muscular Dystrophy and need renovations to make their house wheelchair accessible. They raised $100,000 in ticket sales and Jon Huntsman matched that amount. They were a really cool humble family.
The show was an awesome combination of humor and touching stories. I love Glenn on the radio and I had been to his stage show in SLC last year. We don't usually get big names in IF but since his daughter goes to school in Rexburg he comes out to ID quite often. Mark didn't want to go so I went with my Uncle John and Aunt Betty and my cousin Clay and his wife Jeralyn. They are a hoot. We laughed a lot at dinner. Quite loudly in fact.
Here are some more pictures of my adorable newest nephew, Jeremiah and his beautiful Mama, Betsy. She is over the moon about this little guy. We made a crazy quick trip to see him Wed. night and came back Thursday. Bes and Jonah both looked so content and happy. Jonah almost starved because he wouldn't leave the hospital to go get food. (there is no delivery in Star Valley) My mom finally got him a pizza. Jeremiah is named after Jonah's brother Jeremiah who only lived for a few hours.
This Jeremiah is one of the most perfect little newborns I have ever seen. He is round and has really fine features. What a doll.
