Easy, laid back Easter
We had a nice quiet Easter today. We enjoyed church, a yummy ham lunch, hunting for eggs, and watching Enchanted for family movie night. Just a peaceful, nice day.
Mark has been sick the last few days and finally got a ct scan yesterday. It turns out he has diverticulitis, an infection in the intestines. Poor guy. The antibiotics seem to be helping.

Biggest LOSER!

I love the show "Biggest Loser". I love to see these people who go from so discouraged to so encouraged in just a matter of a few months. Who are you rooting for? I am probably in the minority. I like Mark. (not just cause he has my hubby's name) I love ultra competitive people. I have been known to say a few things I shouldn't in the middle of a contest, ballgame, or even a Monopoly game and then regret it afterward. Brynn calls Mark the "emotional one". Amy thinks Mark is mean. I just think the concept of the show is cool. The only thing I don't like is why put the women in a sports bra to weigh in. I think we can tell what they look like. That's a bit degrading to me. Amy and I want to be on the next season (she would never get it cause she doesn't need to lose weight) but I bet we would be funny country Mormon girls! Brynn said she would disown me. Ha!

Getting back into the groove

Until tonight I hadn't scrapbooked for a good long while and I had fun creating these two layouts. It took me way too long though. I hope as I get back into it, I can speed things up. :)Still, I love walking away from the computer and not having a huge paper mess to clean up.

Grapefruit Spray makes me happy

Yes, I am quite random in my posts but I basically blog whatever comes to mind (scary, huh) and I really wanted to share that I love Method Pink Grapefruit all purpose cleaner that I buy at Target. It's non-toxic, cleans great, and smells so yummy!

BRAVO! BRAVO!
Wednesday we went to Bravo Club that Qwest puts on twice a year. It's a pretty nice shindig. It's a semi formal awards banquet that awards the top sellers. Coaches have to go so I have an opportunity to buy a new dress for the occasion. I have to say hi to my friend Jeni that I just found out reads my blog. She and I have too much fun at these events, laughing and talking. (we mostly laugh at the expense of the winners that always indulge in the open bar a little too much and then can barely make it to the stage)I don't usually go if she isn't going to be there. It was a fun night.
Today "Uncle" Ken is coming over. He's working in Boise so he's coming down for the weekend. That is always fun. Ken is our single "couple" friend. Make sense? Mark and I both get along great with him so we always have a fun time. Besides teaching the kids magic tricks, he is also a computer GURU! Everyone needs a Ken. I can't wait for him to fix all of the things that Mark and I have messed up.
Have a fantastic weekend!

Something that doesn't happen all the time

Amy and I got our daughters American Girl dolls this past Christmas and they have enjoyed them so much. Today I got this email that they have a free shipping promotion going on. I love that! Amy decided to get her girls and their dolls matching Easter dresses this year. I love that idea! American Girl stuff is top notch and I love that the dolls are age appropriate, modest, and positive role models.
P.S. If you know Amy's girls, shhhhh about the Easter presents. :)

We're still kicking......
I know, I know. It's been forever. Sunday we finally thought we were all well and we enjoyed a great weekend in Wyoming. Baby Jeremiah was blessed and we had a wonderful day with my family in good old Star Valley. It was one of those days that were ALL GOOD. It's so exciting because right here, right now, all is well in the Kyle Erickson family. Betsy and Jonah and Jeremiah are all super happy, Kendall has found his sweetheart Chelsi, Mark and I and Amy and Don all enjoy our crazy lives and crazy families. My parents are healthy and well and it's so good. Of course there are always ups and downs in any family and we have had our share for sure but it's the best it's been for awhile. I love being around my family. If we got to pick our families in Heaven, I think we picked well. :)Of course, I can't forget Zane(my mom would never let me). He seems to really be liking Arizona and the work of a missionary.
With all that goodness said, it fell apart when we got home. I woke up in the night completely bone-chilled, yet I had a temperature of 102. It was a long night. I survived the day fine but then Brynn and Kate came home with raging headaches and fevers. We just cannot seem to beat this! It is getting exhausting. They are both sleeping this morning hopefully recharging their batteries. I am feeling a little better today, just not well. Arrgh.
If you are a praying person and know Mark's mom Sandy I know she would appreciate a prayer in her behalf. She is struggling with pancreatitis and a possible ulcer. She is such a nice lady and we wish her a speedy recovery. When she went in for surgery a few days ago the nurse looked at her chart and said, "Ehnat, huh? Do you know Brynn Ehnat?" Of course that got Sandy's attention. It so happened that Sandy's nurse was the mother of Brynn's best friend when we lived in WA, Taylor. The girls have even emailed each other since then. I was happy to hear that because Taylor's mom Vicki is a super nice lady and I was happy that Sandy was in good hands.
